Introduction to freelancing: session recording

I ran an online session on freelancing as part of the Fair Museum Jobs Careers Summit #FMJSummit in November 2020 ‘Freelancing in Museums - By the numbers’.

The session brings the real story of freelancing in the museum and heritage sector to life by sharing insights from the Museum Freelance survey, resources and tips on getting started and surviving as a freelancer in the sector. It's aimed at people thinking about freelancing in the sector or in the early stages of freelancing.

The session is introduced by Louise McAward-White, Collections Systems Specialist at British Film Institute and Committee Member, Fair Museum Jobs. #FMJSummit was presented in partnership with Group for Education in Museums (GEM), with support from Art Fund.
